Irvine, Ayrshire Golf Courses
Location of Gailes Links
The Gailes Golf courses lie to the south of Irvine and north of Troon in North Ayrshire. Access by car is recommended.
Directions From Glasgow
• Take the M77/A77 towards Ayr.
• Take the turn at Kilmarnock taking the A71 to Irvine 4th exit.
• At the Morefield roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A71 (signposted Irvine)
• At Corsehill Mount Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A71 (signposted Irvine).
• The third roundabout, Warrix Interchange, take the 1st exit signposted on the A78. it is signposted Troon, Prestwick Airport, Ayr).
• After half a mile take the 1st exit, the Newhouse interchange.
• On the Newhouse interchange take the 3rd exit and go straight on at the next roundabout (almost immediate) signposted Harbourside & Golf Courses.
• After 250 yds turn right into the approach road to Glasgow Gailes Links, (which is signposted) it is just past the Gailes Lodge.
Directions From Prestwick Airport
• Start out at Prestwick Airport, Prestwick.
• At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A79.
• At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A79.
• At Monktonhill Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A78 (signposted Greenock).
• At Meadowhead Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A78.
• Branch left, then at Newhouse Interchange roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A737 (signposted Town Centre).
• At Three Stanes Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Marine Drive Turn left onto Gailes Road.
• After 250 yds turn right into the approach road to Glasgow Gailes Links, (which is signposted) it is just past the Gailes Lodge.
