Hire Clubs
This year we will be continuing with our long term partner Titleist, to supply our hire clubs for 2020. These will include TS series woods and hybrids, T100,200 and 300 irons, Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putters.
Cart Hire
We have 3 Club Car electric 2-seater golf carts available for hire and you are advised to book these in advance.
Trolley Hire
We have a fleet of three-wheel push trollies available for hire or if it’s an electric trolley you are looking for we have Powakaddy electric trollies available, all fitted with GPS.
Meet the team
John Greaves
John Greaves is the Head Professional at Glasgow Golf Club. John spent 5 years at Buchanan Castle Golf Club as Assistant Professional, working under the vastly experienced Charles Dernie. John moved to Banchory Golf Club for a brief spell before returning to Glasgow Golf Club as Head Assistant in 1992. Jack Steven, the long serving PGA Professional of 37 years and an honorary member of Glasgow Golf Club retired in 2008 and John was appointed professional shortly after.
Having finished 3rd in the Scottish PGA order of merit in 1997 he represented Scotland in the winning team at the European Team Championships and has competed on the European, Challenge and Asian Tours. John also represented GB&I in the 1996 PGA Cup at The Broadmoor, Colorado.
John has over 30 years experience as a PGA Professional and along with his team of professionals, is dedicated to delivering the best possible service to members and guests.
Nick Walton
A golf Professional since 1992 he has worked at Barnard Castle, Seaton Carew and developed/ designed Knotty Hill Golf Club in his birthplace Sedgefield County Durham. An England International at 15, he enjoyed a full amateur career. A Professional since 1992 he won the NE/NW PGA Championship on two occasions.
He brings a wealth of experience to Glasgow Golf Club and currently enjoys assisting John Greaves with the multi -faceted tasks at Glasgow Golf Club.
Enjoys retail and custom fitting using Foresight Sports GC2 launch monitor technology ensuring golfers have the correct equipment whilst developing their games through coaching.
