The Tennant Cup is the oldest Open Amateur Strokeplay Competition in the World having been played since 1880 and is a 72 hole Scottish Golf Order of Merit Competition with the first 36 holes being played over Gailes Links on Saturday 22nd June 2019 and the leading 40 players and those who have tied for 40th place playing the final 36 holes over Killermont, the Club's parkland course, on Sunday 23rd June 2019.
The competition is open to amateur golfers who are members of Clubs in one of the British Golf Unions or of an Overseas Golf Club occupying a course and who have handicaps of NOT MORE THAN 1 in accordinace with the Standard Scratch Score and handicapping Scheme 1983 as published and amended by the Council of National Golf Unions.
FIRST PRIZE £500
The winner will have their name inscribed on the trophy, which will be retained by Glasgow Golf Club, and will receive a suitably engraved silver medal.
